Help with GO 700 to update Map

Postby itilley » Fri Nov 02, 2012 9:39 pm

If possible I need help in updating a GO 700. Information as follows:-
New Map Europe West 890.4224. (no 895 available) The old map was 870.3391.Western Europe.
So Using original Navcore 7.903. Then using Fast Activate - latest version. I am not able to produce a DCT file.
On examining the files I find the following:-
1.A disc image file of the previous map Western Europe 0147a50 - 1kb
2.Current Map file ( /mnt/sdcard/Western_and_Central_Europe/
3.In the Maps file it shows the old map Western Europe with a tlv file.
4.Also I cannot find a DCT file even although the Meta and PNA files are done.
5. Fast Activate says the the Navcore is patched!
Nothing appears on the unit but I can still connect to the computer.
I am obviously missing something. Trying to avoid updating the Navcore if possible.
Any suggestions please?

Why do want to update the NC?
The 9.485 I posted silll run fine on your device.
Please use the lates version of FastActivate as linked in the 895 map thread.
If the NC is already patched it should work just fine.
