Hi:

I have a gps (china brand) that had some problems.
And had the unfortunate idea to change some of the keys on register.
Now when I turn on the GPS starts with the first image and restart in few seconds.
There is some way to resolve this?
Put the gps booting by sdcard?
Thanks

What registry entry did you change?

The solution depends on what is causing the reboot, but I suspect only a reflash will fix it.

If you are one of lucky ones and got a system with a working recovery you can try a hard reset (if in doubt remove the battery for a few minutes).
On such a device the registry and the complete CE system will be set back to system specs.
In case this does not work only a reflash of the firware will help, but this might not work if your can't find the original.
I guess the devie no longer shows up on the PC or can you still connect and work on it?

These entries were taken from Windows Mobile, They cause Windows CE to get stuck in a reboot loop, Which i found out for myself when i tested it (and posted that result in that thread). My device has a hardware hard reset feature so i can unbrick it.

All you can do now is hard reset, This may mean disassembling the device and disconnecting the battery or flashing the ROM image.
Currently sleeping...
