Help required! TT Go940 live - Truck?

I have a Go 940 live, even after reading loads of posts and threads on here i am confused as to what i need to do to achive my goal of having truck software on it. Many of the links i have followed seem dead...

app 9.510.1234792.1
map western and central Europe V810.1934

i am happy to delve around in the files etc of the satnav but i havnt got a clue which ones to change and with what! i guess i need a bit of an idiot guide.....

any help will be very gratfully recived.

We can't make it any easier than it already is.
Install the Navcore, add the map, patch and create the DCT files with FastActivate - that's it.

I understand that I need a navcore, a map etc but I guess I am thick...... I just don't understand exactly what I need to do.

I thought I was quite savvy about things but it turns out I need an idiots guide.

I have bought a memory card and backed up the entire device with windows explorer including hidden files........ Where next?

Sorry if I am not clued up enough for you knowledgeable guys I am a simple truck driving ex-mechanic! Not a programmer!

If you plan to put the entire Truck setup on your SDHC card, then put Truck Navcore 9.702, Truck Europe 950 map [below], a copy of your 940 ttgo.bif file & FastActivate.exe on the card.

Run FastActivate option 2 to patch the map, & option 3 to patch the navcore. Disconnect & reboot. Done!!
