Have to remove SD card on TT-One XL with SE 9026-483454 inst

Postby fritsfrance » Sat Oct 01, 2011 6:29 pm

Hello
I installed navcore SE 9026-483454 on a 2GB SD card for a 32MB device.
Everything runs fine.
Except after I close down, I am unable to restart. I can restart after I remove and reinsert the SD card. It looks the device does again an initial setup and runs fine until next close down. Close-down goes real quick and it looks that nothing is saved.

I played with the config files but without any luck.
The latest status is that I removed the 3 files: model.txt, version.txt and cycle.txt

The content of the setconfig.txt is now:

model:x40light
changedtext:Émulation TomTom GO 540
btoff
noqfixdel
usesetting

Someone else has had this problem too? Please help.

That is correct!
Strange, when I look on the unit in TTgo.bif I see the following:

DeviceName=TomTom ONE XL
DeviceVersionHW=ONE XL
DeviceSerialNumber=L1xxxxxxxx
DeviceUniqueID=
RamDiskVersion=20080529
BootLoaderVersion=55001
LinuxVersion=190943
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8010 <<
ApplicationVersion=9369 <<
UserLanguage=Français

So an other version numberand application version. Because it is patched?

tendriver, thanks for your fast responses. You put me on the right track. I have put my original backup back in the internal memory, 8.010-9369.
Now the SD card is running fine, and does not need to be removed after every close down!

Thanks again!
