You can keep the map on it and delete the rest.
Then place ttgo,bif and
FastAktivate,exe on it

			Hm, not sure if this is correct. I deleted all files from SD card, apart from map folder. I copied ttgo.bif file over from internal storage. I copied FA and run it. Patched map successfully.
However, when I reset and restarted device, it didn't find the map. There was just the old one from internal.

			You have no navcore 9510 on your 730 I see the 8351. So that means you have to upgrade via Home to
navcore 9510 and patched it .

			oh bummer, so navcore 9510 was on SD card. Now gone. Sure I'll wait if you have it handy. Also, one liner of how to proceed would save me searching through forum, please. Thank you. Also, do I update on internal or SD card? or both? and how?

			Yay, it did the trick. New map works like treat. Although I run it via Home, so got latest from TomTom and patched afterwards. One curiosity I noticed: When I run FA on SD Card, MyDeviceInfo shows:
ttgo.bif:
         DeviceName=TomTom GO 730
         DeviceVersionHW=GO 730
         DeviceSerialNumber=J4xxxxxxxxxx
         BootLoaderVersion=55250
         ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8351
         ApplicationVersion=9982
         CurrentMap=Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB
         CurrentMapVersion=800.1762
Map(s):
         G:\United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_970_7466\
Storage:
         Size 3771MB, Free 3518MB
but when I run it on internal storage, it shows
ttgo.bif:
         DeviceName=TomTom GO 730
         DeviceVersionHW=GO 730
         DeviceSerialNumber=J4xxxxxxxxxx
         BootLoaderVersion=55250
         ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9510
         ApplicationVersion=1234792.1
         CurrentMap=Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB
         CurrentMapVersion=800.1762
Map(s):
         I:\Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB\
Storage:
         Size 1955MB, Free 99MB
So what version do I run really? 9510? 9982? 8351?
Anyway. Thank you very much for your time and help and big kudos for your knowledge and experience. Appreciate it. :-)

			You run the 9510
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9510.
On the SD card is still the ttgo,bif from intern before it was updated to 9510
