Thank you very much for your help.

OK, easy answer. All of those FastActivate links are for an old version, which no longer exists. I'll get that corrected.

I would like to use fast activate, but the updates with tthome don't work. I am bored by tthome, i tried to update a lot of times and it's the same : when updating, I received a message "TThome has stopped, Windows try to solve ..." I saw there is a tthome button on fastactivate tool ... Can I use It despite tthome is not working ?
Thanks

There has never been any way to get FastActivate updates with TT Home. The TT Home button is for patching TT Home so "Operate my device" will function with a patched navcore.

FastActivate Premium 1.8.8.9 is the current version.

Thank's for your quick answer. I don't care of updates with tthome. I want to be sure that using fastactivate without any possibility to update with tthome is safe. Your answer is positive, as I understood.

I don't know of any reason why it wouldn't be safe, since FastActive has nothing to do with TT Home, except for patching TT Home so "Operate my device" will function with a patched navcore.

Absolutely not !! My problem was very singular, I didn't find anything on the net and Tomtom support was unable to fix it. TThome updates has worked well till end of may 2012. After that, when updating, tthome crashed with a message like that " tthome has stopped, Windows tries to fix". I make a new install, complete, I tried with an other computer : nothing.
Now tthome is ok, I have just installed europe south 890.4222 with fast activate 1.8.8.9. I had an error with the tthome button of fast activat "can't find dll tomtom", but heres is no consequence : I got 11000 mapshares .

If Home crashes during the update process you have reasons:
1. serverproblems on the TT side - usually fixed within a few hours
2. wrong configuration you your device - that includes ttgo.bak/ori, damaged update files for the map and or quickfix

The first is no real problem as it fixes itself, the second can be easily fixed with a clean install of NC and map on an empty device.
Often "left overs" from the previous install are causing all sorts of problems even if the device seems to work fine most of the time.
In rare case the wrong BL can make problems too, but than your normal file transfer from the PC to the device would be affected too (freezing, stopping and generally very slow).
