If it is not a Live device running Navcore 9.844 you can still use the tutorial for the normal Carminat to add new maps and get it going.

havent you read the first 3 post? you have already a solution by update to patched 9.844 version of navcore

Need of new testers

Unpack the archive onto a blank SD add your original map folder from the backup and insert the SD into the Carminat.
If all goes well the NC will be installed and show up as 9.845, if it does not work you only will see 9.844 - since it is not confirmed what this version actually does we need any tester who installed it to check:
a) if the original map works as before
b) if the map still works after you used a keygen for the activation (or a newer map that you activated).

Hi Downunder35m, if I can help you, I have the opportunity to have the new Tomtom SD before they are loaded for the first time on a car. I already tried to make a copy of a card, but did not work.

Please check if in the map folder is .dct file.
I suspect you got the Original sale version of the SD which should contain a .MCT file for the activation of the map.
The mct is bound to the SD cid and not your deviceID which would explain why only the original SD works.
But the SD will than not only work in your car but in every other Carminat Live as well.

I followed your instruction in the first post without results.
Patch doesn't work. I have used Europe 880.3812 map to test device but the device responds "unable to use this map on device map europe 454.meta".
In my original Renault Italy map i have only .DCT files (map and velox)
