Can not use this map error

Trying to update the map on a friends tomtom XL and no matter what map i use i get the error, i have made sure the map is suitable to the navcore and run easy activator 1.7 and it will not work, but i have updated the map on my tomtom and it works fine

Confirm that the navcore has been patched & that a current meta.txt file has been added to the patcher folder. What map are we dealing with?

I installed a new navcore that fixed the map error, but now i dont have sound on it except the start up

That's good. I would offer to help with the sound problem, but you haven't posted anything to work with.

Solved my issue, i restored it all from the back up i made, the issue was i used the lite version of easy-activator that only does maps/speed cams instead of the premium version that will do the navcore Image
