You DO NOT need to format your device!!
Have you done a "hard" reset of the device. If no, press and hold the On/Off button for 15 seconds and release the button, when your device begins to restart.

Eskro this is false information , please dont ever recommend a user to do something that is not needed, formatting lowers the life of the device ;)

TT One IQ Routes has 9.054 as its latest officiall navcore so why are you trying to install 8.412 ???

Install 9.054 .cab and patch the ttsystem with FastActivate ;)

NavCore version 9 dont work well under 3.5" screens...

Navcore 9 works fine on small screen devices if it is the official navcore for that device, so please do some researching before giving out false information.

Just delete everything plug into tomtom home it will promp you to install navcore, let it install then add map and patch it with fast active then it should be fine with latest navcore for that device. Once it is running patch tomtom home and add speed cams ect run fast active to make speed cams work then update map on tomtom home.
I have a tomtom one v4 with navcore 9.053 and it works perfect and has done for a few months and used daily.
Hope this quick answer helps

he only needs to re-activate his map, thats it,,,

but i agree, if navcore 9054 is his default one, he should use that,,,,

but either way it'll work..

So sorry if i gave out wrong infos
