Bluetooth GPS receiver

Is it possible to use a Bluetooth GPS receiver in combination with a TomTom device like a PDA does ?
Or is this only for navcore version 7.xx available.

I have a heat blocking front window and was wondering if there is an alternative for the external wired antenna.

No, I've sold my Go720 !
The GPS problem was a hardware problem.

But while reading the possible problems with the GPS signal I realized that this is going to be a problem using a TomTom device.
Untill now I'm using a PDA and a bluetooth GPS receiver.
I always put this receiver in the back of my car.

So I was wondering if I still can use this receiver when the TomTom signal is poor.
