1. You don't want a 865_3262 no features map or a 860.3101 out of date map.
You want a 865.3245 full feature version. 865.3244 is OK

2. Are you getting this message on your 720 or TT Home?

I gues all that is missing is to patch the Navcore too with fast activate - last button on the right.
I assume you updated the meta.txt before activating the map?
To be sure please confirm you have a .meta.dct file in your map folder and that the map folder is located in the root of your device and not in a sub folder.

Have you patched your Navcore as well, or use a SE Navcore?
If the Navcore is patched and the map activated it will work.
Must be your Navcore as you have the .dct files in your map folder.

Roughly I make as this:

- I erase my navcore, my sd card.. My TT it's empty !
- Copy this navcore 9.205.rider3.CAB-navcore-RIDER in my sd card
- Copy X_ttsystem.9.205.547817.1
- Copy 9-205-547817-1.win.2.2 (for img of the menu)
- Copy map Europe_865_3244
- Crack map with meta.txt, patch ttsytem, patch navcore etc....

And... And the map does not still work! Always this message

On the other hand as I said, I do not use TT Home

Ok, if you use the x_ttsystem than you don't have to patch your Navcore.
I assume you unpacked the archives.
To find an end to this story I suggest you leave the map folder and the ttgo.bif on your device and delete the rest.
Use Home to download and install the official Navcore (8.351).
Patch this Navcore and check if the map works.
If so you have a problem with your 9.205 Navcore.
If you still get the same error as before your map activation is faulty.

With My official NavCore 8.351 and differents maps, i have the same problem with maps : You cannot use this map on this device.

I wanted to put the Navcore 9.205 to be exactly able to put on the new maps, but unsuccessfully..

"If you still get the same error as before your map activation is faulty."

For my activation, i use FastActivate or Easy Activator, and has every time I extracts well the map of origin for patch.

4. NO This does not go on your SD card.
5. OK Copy to SD card
6. Copy FastActivate to SD card
7. Copy your 720's ttgo.bif file to SD card
8. Run FastActivate & click the Maps/Voices/Speedcams button only.
9. Put the SD card in your 720 & boot it.

If you have the exact same problem, then follow the instructions in post 9.

Than the best start is reading, like our tutorials and some related threads.
But since it is not clearly stated elsewhere : the ttgo.bif is created by your TT after a successful boot.
