Hi im new to this site and im finding it hard to figure out how to install the latest maps. Im not sure how I do it, I have a tom tom one.

Below is some information I found out from ttconfig

Can anyone please help me how to install the latest maps and how I would do it. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks

Does you unit have a 1GB or 2GB internal storage?

The last few editions of Western_Europe_1GB have been over 1GB in size & will not fit on your device. You can browse thru the All New Maps 870.XXXX & All New Maps 875.XXXX threads for a map that will fit. Most of them have an Autoinstaller version. There are instructions in post 1. Check the chart in post 1 of each thread to confirm the compatibility of the maps with your navcore. You will also have to patch your navcore to use one of the maps.

Hi thank you for your help, i have downloaded the UK and Republic of Ireland map 870.3391 and I checked to see if it is compatible with my navcore. Also it says something about Automatic patcher and Installer so could you please let me know what I would need to do to make the maps work on my device and also should I backup all my files currently on my device and then remove them all ?. please get back to me thanks

2. Yep. I referred to the Auto feature with this post 4 comment: Most of them have an Autoinstaller version. To use the Autoinstall feature, you must download the "orange" colored version, not the "blue" colored vesion. Instructions are in post 1. To patch your navcore go here: FastActivate ENG 28.08.2011 {1.8.7.2} Read the instructions carefully, then select the Premium version.
3. Yes, make a backup using Windows Explorer copy & paste. Then remove the old map folder only.
