map europe 935.5753

annoying sound while driving.
tomtom sounds (Bell 1) sometimes
i don't know why.
This sound is when device is turned on, and when navigates
how i turn off this sound ??
please help

Is it the warning sound that indicates that you're speeding...if so, part of the information panel at the bottom will flash red at the same time?

try to reset all setting.

Main Menu, Change preferences, see what you have selected in Manage POIs, then check in Speed Cameras & finally check in Safety preferences.

main menu > change preferences > ">" >Manage POIs > Warn when near POI.
i don't have any warn.

No, there is not dependent

I've speed cam from this forum.
in menu > TomTom service > Speed Cameras > change warning preferences. I've 7 warn. all 7 have sound "WARN1 and WARN3" not "BELL1"

OK, you covered 2 out of 3 of the preferences listed in post 4. You didn't mention Safety preferences.

ok, I solved the problem
main menu > change preferences > safety preferences>>>>>>>> "warn when driving faster than a set speed" <<<<<<<< This was a problem !!
