over on xda developers they say tom tom is going to be integrated into HTC locations

not sure what it means myself other than tom tom is getting involved in android OS for phones
the new desire HDs comes with its own navigation software built in maps are free but you have to pay for TBT or speed cams so i cant see it being on them but i suspect it may be available for other devices

You did good. Thanx. Basically the maps will be from TT.

just an update on this
got the desire HD mobile and it has a cool feature locations

it displays your current location on a tile then you go into map and you can get the map to display all range of things like bars resturants etc good feature but it does say the maps are provide by Route 66

the car panel navigation on the phone is very good and gives the option of the built in TBT or use google navigation

having said that im missing tom tom on my phone, wish they would get it to android soon
