910 Navcore, boot combination

Thu Sep 30, 2010 10:03 am

Hi
My sister has a 910 which already has a SE navcore, not sure which version, but is not performing all that well apparently. What would be the best combination to use for latest maps?

What you mean is not performing well, what are the problems with it ??

I reccomend SE_Navcore.9.205.547817_32mb_devices.rar OR SE_Navcore.9.150.554646_64mb_devices
from http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?2831-TomTom-Automatic-Navcore-Installation
They should both work well for you , doesnt really matter wich 1 you choose both look and act the same ;)

Thanks for VERY prompt reply

I think navcore was for 710, this is what is it shows device is now. Apparently hangs up sometimes and is very slow booting up, hence my question about boot loader. I think it has failed to boot sometimes.

But, I would go with djc's 9.205 or 9.150 suggestions.

Thanks all, will try 9.150, as the 910 has a HD so plenty of memory, and report back. Have to wait until I get hold of unit.

Finally managed to get hold of the 910. Installed 9.205 autoinstall, everything went flawlessly and is reported to be working well. Decided to go for latest autoinstall for 32mb units.

Thanks all
