870 Maps

Tue May 17, 2011 1:58 pm

870 maps have been released.

If a map is not listed in All New Maps 870.XXXX , then we don't have it yet, so DON"T ASK!!!

Is it just me (I am nearly 102 after all) or are the new maps impossible to download by us dementure suffering idiots via this new link route ? I have a premium account at FileFactory, the files are (I believe) hosted on FileFactory ... yet all I can get is pages of ads for download managers (livid etc) and other crap... none of the links take to me the download! Nearest I get is the filefactory "buy an account" screen, no download though even though my browser has logged me in to filefactory. Apart from the odd glitch, the 865 maps all download without such an issue ... I am reminded "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" - useable links or an instruction manual for us old'uns would be nice...

Which map?
I just tested Australia_870.3406 & had no problem.

All of 'em Td, and it makes no odds which browser Chrome, IE8, IE9 - I'm getting nowhere with any of them on either laptop.

I can download the 865 maps no problem - the link via Relink.us works fine, but the 870 maps are linking via Linksave.in and no matter which link I follow, I get nothing but german ads, ilivid ads, even when already pre-logged-in to FileFactory.

And I don't beleve that I can be the only one seeing this!

Do you have your popup blocker set & are you scrolling to the very bottom of the Linksave.in page?

Linksave works fine here too on Win7 and when using things like Jdwnloader all that is needed is to copy the Linksave link into the clipboard.
The direct links usinf IE FF or Chrome also work fine, so I can only assume an user error.

Well I've just got back from a few days in Japan to find that my 12 y.o. grandson has solved the issue (whatever it was!)

Thanks guys - it was obviously a problem with browser settings - which I think came about after the recent IE update, anyhow the local expert has fixed it.
