Go 750 live Truck

Hi there,

Need a bit of help with this one please.

Am trying to put truck map 855_296 onto a sd card.

I copied this navcore Navcore_8.395.go_work.CAB-navcore-GO_WORK_mod_X50 onto the card and the map and a copy of the ttgo.bif file all to the root.

Then copied FastActivate to the root as well. Is the ttsytem already patched with that navcore as when I hit the button it came back 'Already patched?'. When I tried the map button, FastActivate is just bombing out and disappears.

Am I forgetting something here and doing something completely wrong? Quick answer would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Btw, I put the card in the unit just to see and the TT unit crashed halfway when booting up when loading from card.

When Plan A fails, go to Plan B. Use 1 of the many other keygens available to you here.

Are we saying that the navcore x50 does need patching then tendriver? I have also tried easyusetools with no success

No, Navcore_8.395.go_work.CAB-navcore-GO_WORK_mod_X50 is pre-patched.
I was referring to this. When I tried the map button, FastActivate is just bombing out and disappears.

Yep, I managed to do the map okay but I couldn't get the TT to work with the above navcore. So, so far, map patching okay, this navcore not working. I even tried the 845_ earlier map. Seems to be a problem with the navcore. Have I done everything correctly?

1. Place pre-patched navcore on sd card.
2. put copy of ttgo.bif on the sd card.
3. Put on the map
4. Patch the map
5 Voila!


Not working for me :( Thank you tendriver.

Hello tendriver, it seems to reboot after a short while and then just seems to lock up on the tt logo pic what you see when it first boots. I left it a good while and nothing seems to happen.

ps. From what I've read it should take a while on first boot, upto 4 minutes possibly and then reboot. It seems to reboot but then just hangs there.

I don't know if this is of relevance but the app version is 9001.

Yep, that is the x50 modded navcore I'm trying to use but the actual 750 has 9001 on the main drive. This is for going on the sd card. I took a copy of the units ttgo.bif file and placed it on the sd card? The modded x50 8395 navcore is supposed to be compatible with the 750?

OK, got it. Thanx. Confirm that you copied all files and folders from the 8.395 download to the card. The navcore, map folder, ttgo.bif & fastactivate is all you need on the card. Open the map folder & confirm that after patching you have a meta.dct file & a tmeta.dct file.

Yep, all above confirmed. The map patched correctly with the dct files. After inserting the card in the TT however, nothing happened apart from a reboot and freeze at the ttlogo.

please use the tomtom clear flash tool followd by a hard reset , thanks

hmmm, tried the 855_296 map on my older x30 unit and it wouldn't work. Said you can't use this map with this device. That was using the regular 8.396 go work navcore. Tried the older 854 map and it worked straight away (on my x30 unit that is).

Did you repatch the 855 map for your x30 unit? BTW, 860 is the current map version.
