Hi another question I am afraid my son in law has a 710 and having seen my 9026 upgrade wants to know how well we could upgrade his and have truck functions as he is a lorry driver.
What would you recommend for a navcore with max features and truck capability for a 710.

Well that makes life a lot easier then lol.

@dericboy1: If you check the forum or even the TT homepage you'll notice that a 720 is a dedicated Truck device.
So you take the Trck map and Navcore and off you go ;)

Thank you for your reply,ive only just purchased the 720 off ebay and have not yet received it so im not fully aware of all its functions. which truck maps and navcore would be compatible with my device if i were to download them to a 4gig sd card. once again thanks for the reply.

I have loaded up 8398 and the 880.3845 and everything seems to work except computer voices. There is an asr folder in the cab file but no voices showing on change voice any idea's would be appreciated.

1. ASR = Address Speech Recognition ( aka voice input navigation ) has nothing to do with computer voices. It is there for the user to orally input his desired destination.

Which computer voices do you have loaded on the 710 card??

I have the loquendo file with Dave,Susan and Kate but only the recorded voices show in the selection window, however on voice setup it asks if I want it to read signs and road names?

I have tried copying the tts files from my 710 which I know are working but still no option for computer voice in the voice selection panel. Any ideas anyone?

You're only asked if you want to read out street names if you have a computer voice.
If you check the voices section you'll find a patch for the Loqundo files as well, give it a try.

Did you load the voices on this 710 the exact same way that you loaded them on your 710?
