TT Go 710 and 855 map

Sat Nov 06, 2010 10:52 am

I have a Tomtom Go 710 with navore 8.2 but if i look at the optional maps there is no map with Western Europe or Europe possible that includes Cspeech and IQ routes. With 835 it was possible but i tried the 855.2884 map and the device tells me its not compatible.
Can someone tell me if its still possible to install a 855 map with (western) europe that includes IQ and CSpeech on a Go 710?

Ow yes, I was in your position a few months ago. With the help of this web site my go 710 is running the latest Western and Central Europe map on the latest navcore, and is able to accept big SD cards.....the IQ routes and computer speech and advanced lane guidance all work brilliantly.

There are a few steps to the process, and I wont try to tell you myself incase i get something wrong but when you get a reply from tendriver or djc or pietu, follow there instructions to the letter and youll soon be up and running....

@ cambridges,
Make a backup with windows explorer of your current 710 setup.
Download this navcore SE_Navcore.9.205.547817_32mb_devices.rar here: TomTom Automatic Navcore Installation Read & follow the instructions carefully.
Download this map: Western and Central Europe 855.2884 & copy it onto the 710 hard drive & patch it, per the instrutions mentioned above.
Reboot. DONE!!
