What is Zervdim and why doesn't it work?

I've just downloaded Goldmaster iGo. I'm trying to find a nice new version to hopefully improve my unit. It comes loaded with Zervdim and it does not work whatsoever.

I assume it's a TTS but why doesn't it work? Is it worth trying to get it working?

Zervdim's releases were very country and device specific, and gave many problems for anyone not using similar hardware or in a different country. You'd be better off with a generic release

Thanks fatboy, I actually really like Serena so I think I'll stick with that. Always works perfectly

As FBF said, Zervdim stole my TTS files and tried to make different language TTS that didn't work and only caused countless errors for thousands. If you want TTS to work, stay away from the Zervdim voices.
