these past few days I've been saving kml files and placing them in content/userdata/poi and was not able to locate the kml file, I'll make another folder content/userdata/route and see if this works, if not, then when I get to France I'll be sitting in the car for a few hours as I make via points along the route I wish to take :) all good fun and a good way to get to know the software

hi guys!
finally everything works fine with primo.
the problem was with the info i got from sirfgpstweaker.
both port and boud were wrong.
i got the sys.txt from the supplier, copy the gps settings to primo and everything works fine.

[gps]
set_messages=0
port=2
baud=9600
protocol="nmea"

and i guess those are the settting for almost all made in china devices.
sorry for waisting your time guys.
thanks again for your patience.
best regards
bruno

Like I told you when you asked about iGO possibly being the only working GPS ;)

nabi wrote:Do you have a copy of that iGO8? Then look in the sys.txt if there is something there about the gps. Or a [device] section? And also look in the save folder of iGO for a file called system.ini for information. We may be missing something. Or the port and baud are wrong.

Or is this bragging ? :rolling:
