update speed cams IGO Primo 2.4

Postby Bootech » Mon Dec 03, 2018 5:31 pm

Hey guys,

I have IGO Primo 2.4 running on a binatone f430.

I always seem to struggle when trying to update the speed cam file, (I'm sure i posted about this but can't find my old thread)

So yeah the new download the maps working well and I notice there's a *.spc file, I've tried opening this in a text editor and it was unreadable. so after having a little look around the net then I tried changing it to speedcam.spdb but that hasn't worked, Under the old speed cam folder I have

speedcam.spdb
speedcams.txt
speedcamupdates.spud

Thanks

*spc file means that a password is necessary to use the file. Delete all from content\speedcam folder after making a complete backup first. Put the spc file [after applying the password] into content\speedcam and re-start the program.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

aha, thanks mate, so where and how do you apply the password to it.....and is the password some where in the download of the new update?

I got iGO_HERE_Europe_2018.Q3 for the latest maps, just having a look to see if it's in there.....

Thanks

Password is in the post not the download. For example: nyky

See post #2 for program application. File should ask for password when trying to move.
