TTS voices

Hello,

I have found a couple of TTS voices through here but can't seem to get the GPS unit (Chinese all in one radio model: HYD872) to recognize the voices. All I did was copy voices to appropriate folder.
Is there something else I need to do?

Also is there any celebrity voices that I can use on the igo software?

You will need to put the TTS engine and dll's into the iGO root folder before they will work.

Are you using loquendo or nuance voices? and iGO 8 or primo?

My display says iGO then Primo so I am not sure which one.

Well you are using primo then, post the name of one off the TTS voice zips

A crap, as soon as you said zip I looked at it and sure enough I copied the rar folder and forgot to unrar it and copy the files inside over to it. It works now.

What about some celebrity voices? Is iGO better or worse than Primo?

That's great, but no, there are no celebrity voices available for iGO.

And the jury's still out on which is best...

Yep using it.

I use Serena as well but I was talking about IGO 8 and Primo :D
