Speedcam warning on Primo 2.4

Fri Aug 15, 2014 1:07 pm

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to stop the speedcam continuous beeping while stopped at traffic lights where traffic light camera is present. As you could imagine It is very annoying. I know setting the TTS voice is an option but I prefer not to use it.

It would be helpful if someone of you guru's provide in-depth details of what's the below warning options means. Is there any document that explains all the speed camera warnings options?

[warning]
overspeed_spoken_type=1
send_warn_event=1
speedcam_continuous_approach_beep_when_tonal=1
speedcam_maxdistance_from_road=20
min_frc=-1
activated_min_speech_repeat_delay=-1
approach_beep_spoken_type=speech
approach_beep_spoken_type=1
overspeed_spoken_type=speech
overspeed_min_speech_repeat_delay=10
mute_voice_announce_during_alert="0"
speak_tts_only="0"
approach_beep_distances="50,100,250,500"
;approach_beep_distances="200,-1,-1,-1,-1,-1,200
speedcam_max_lookahead="3000"
speedwarn_alt_tolerance="105"
speedwarn_tolerance="105"
use_road_speedlimit=0
overspeed_sound="0"

Thanks a bunch

Was it hard to answer?!. I had it sorted out through categories tweaks.

There isn't an official manual on the SYS.txt tweaks, it was all trial and error as to what does what, and still not everything is known yet...

There is this though...
