Under the map settings menu i see the option to have satelite images in 2d or 3d but they are grayed out. When I click on them iog primo brings up the message saying "You have no satellite images on your device. You can download satellite images on naviextras.com". But when I go to naviextras.com I can't find the satellite images. Anyone know where I can get them from and which fold in the igo directory they should go in? Thanks!!
There is this but I don't know anything more. Incidentally, it's cracked so read the .txt file to learn how to use it. Yes, it's clean! The crack may be picked up by your AV. To learn more about it, use Google [Google Earth]. [Please Register or Login to download file]
If it ain't broke don't fix it! ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!
Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.

What is the connection between Google Earth and satellite imagery on Primo? Where can I get the files as specified when clicking the button under "Map settings" menu? Is this a fake?
No this is not a fake. There are alot of raster images of eastern Europe made from google earth images . Not whole countries mind you, but many cities. I was succesful in making one for the city I live in, but since it was ony a test, I didnt have the whole city. I have tried redoing it but have ran into some technical issues that I havent had time to play around with. (Currently trying to organize my corporate taxes first before I play around with it):D
You need a hacked license to be able to use the raster images You need SAS planet to download the map images to your computer You need RasterNNG to compile the images and coordinates together to be able to be displayed on your IGO product.
Wow, thanks, but it seems like a lot of trouble for something so insignificant! I thought there were some images already available as primo says when clicking the satellite imagery button: "go to naviextras.com and get blah blah"... Thanks anyway, I'll probably wait until there are some available.
Unfortunately, Naviextras does not support chinese or other aftermarket in-dash GPS units so whatever files are can't be downloaded from there (they don't even let you pay for it). Any progress around in getting satellite imagery?
