Navteq Teleatlas (tomTom) difference

I notice that there is a Europe navteq 2013.Q2 map and a Europe teleatlas (TomTom) 2013.3 map available. Would someone be so kind as to explain what is the difference between these maps; which one is considered the most accurate and with more poi available. IE Which map system would one recommend over the other? Can the poi info be used interchangeably ie can you use the poi's of both offerings together at the same time? Thanking you beforehand for your response.

There is no answer to which is best.

But you can use navteq maps and tomtom poi's together or vice versa.

I also agree there is no best. For one reason or another I use Navteq maps.

But let me add that I have "thrown" both Navteq and TomTom poi's in the corresponding poi folder. If you use Primo 2.4, you will see that after a poi search, e.g. a restaurant in a city, the menu gives you the possibility to look at both (so you may have double entries) or sort Navteq by pressing a button or TomTom be pressing another one. You just have more poi's this way without any compatibility issues.
