navteq maping australia help

i have just got a igo8 with wince6 and i was wondering if i can put navteq maps on it
its running 8,3,4,14 7"screen says it was built may 11/2010
any help or point me in right direction

Depends if it is a cracked version or not.

Any more information about the device?

Like FBF said, if it's a real program direct from the manufacturer then you'll have to buy your content through the program developer and not from here. You need to download and install a cracked version from here in order to use the free content from Navitotal.

ok so next question where and how do i crack the unit so i can use navteq

If the iGO application is already cracked, which is likely on a Chinese device, you just replace the existing maps with new maps.
If not then you replace the application as well.

The unit itself does not need cracking.

Many thanks for your help every one ,i now have Navteq maps on my igo8 and they seem to work, will give car a run today and see if thy navigate ok
i usually use TOMTOM but saw this and wanted to try a non branded name and see if other maps were as good

Tomtom maps for iGO (Formally Teleatlas) and Navteq maps both have their strengths and weaknesses, You could argue to the end of time about which is best.

Try both and see which works best for you.
