Mon Oct 03, 2011 6:42 am

Guys,

I'm looking for Primo 1.1 800x480 to try please.

Otherwise Primo 1.2 800x480 later than 20 May 2011.

Thanks.

This 1.2 fits the resolution (but don't know what build it is) : http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?6383-iGo-Primo-1.2-Optimized-for-Europe-but-can-be-used-anywhere

Other primo's here : http://www.navitotal.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?83-Program-%28-data.zip-branding.zip-license%29

When you say "later", do you mean "newer"?
In that case, except for a few builds that may be very hardware specific (custom builds for particular devices and no real difference in features or options), there isn't one at this time.
And there may not likely be any more major developments or releases for Primo 1.x, as the NNG focus is now on Primo 2.0 (which is not commonly available yet except the IOS version for Apple products).

I have issues with 1.2 that others have reported, but no such issues exist with 1.1 apparently, hence I would like to try that.
Failing that, I figured that NNG may have resolved the issues after (newer) than May 2011.

Then the v1.1 build by Chas521 would be my choice, but I don't know what resolutions are included. i am pretty sure 480*272 and 320*240 are. You can download and look for yourself. A 1.1 data.zip including 800*480 is possibly available somewhere. (don't know by heart if and where - I am at work and today I am very busy (as you see ;), I can be online only now and then and only for very short time )

Yes I downloaded that one this morning but 800*480 isn't supported.
That's why I stated this thread.

Thanks.

Apologies that i couldn't share this earlier, (At work) But here is the iGO Primo V1.1 (8.5.11.168090 Nov 17 2010) that i use on my smartphone which has a 800x480 screen resolution...

It's straight off my phone, All the content and the save folder has been removed and it only includes UK English voices/language, and only the car icons and colour schemes i use (I delete what i don't need to save space)

Also includes the GJA V2.26 800x480 skin

This one worked but when I tried adding extra voices etc, some worked, some didn't.
They all seemed to worked when selecting the voice (preview), some had quite a bit of lag, but in navigation some didn't work at all.

Does anyone have a full working 1.1 backup including TTS? (with Oz maps would be ideal) ;)

Mine had to work with the Dimka skin - no doubt about it! Did you change to the Dimka skin rather than the default skin? I think not. Also, did you download the proper skin for your resolution?

The Oz maps is a question of adding in the correct spot. That is all.
Non working TTS voices is either a matter of having added the wrong voices or some voices demanding too much resources.

I don't use navigation on my phone that often, so i removed everything that wasn't UK english, all the TTS files and everything else that isn't needed, to save space, It's possible to use the data.zip and the skins in one of your 1.1 builds.

I did download the correct resolution skin, however I need the software to load in order to select it.
The software doesn't load at all due to not having a compatible skin. catch22

Believe me, I understand Catch-22. Did you read the book? If I say Major Major Major Major.
Would you understand that? Doesn't matter. Just having some fun.

Anyway, you put the unzipped Dimka skin in content\skin. Can you get into the program at all? If so, change to the Dimka skin - I think it's in settings, display. My battery is almost dead and I can't check my program unless in the car.
