Latest Maps

Fri Jan 13, 2012 8:33 pm

Hello Everyone.

So far so good and I cannot thank everyone who has helped me so far enough. If possible could somebody point me to the latest maps for the UK for Primo 2? The maps I'm using at the moment are from 2009 and all the speeds are incorrect.

Thank you

Dan.

For a small download (Not the latest, 2011 Q1) go here

Or

The latest (2011 Q3) are here, but requires a lot of downloading.

Thanks for that. I tried installing the UK and Ireland one but I don't have any speed limits on it. I have them on my current one where it tells you the speed limit on screen. It's just blank now... Any suggestions?

Sorry I'm new to all this.

i'm in the uk & find the teleatlas[tomtom] maps are better for showing road speeds see here http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?7388-TomTom-TeleAtlas-Europe-Maps-2011.06-Map-Premium-Poi-for-iGO-R3-Primo-My-Way
i also find junction view works in TA maps but it doesn't for me in ntq [i have a 64mb 320x240] device.

I have most speed limits on screen with my Navteq maps..?

@catsmokey there was an updated data.zip for 320x240 devices which fixed the junction view.

is that junction veiw for NTQ maps or for Primo2 from YT that i have? [currently Primo2 seems to work fine for me but i still need to give it a "good" road test to see if i prefer in to Primo 1.1]
i found down in cornwall i had no speeds on some roads with NTQ maps but with TA[TT] maps all road speeds showed correctly

It's for Primo 2.0, There will be differences between TA and NQ maps, I find NQ maps have more roads, including large shopping center car parks and business parks, Also a newish major road near me still isn't in TA maps, when it was included in the next edition of NQ maps. Although TA maps seem to me to be more accurate with house numbers and speed limit data.
