Hey guys,

I've been mulling over buying a WiFi WinCE head unit for months now and I'm going to bite the bullet. Anyway, Garmin XT has online traffic, and so does Sygic (supposedly).

Does iGo8 or iGo Primo? If so, is it possible to get this activated and working without causing the software to blacklist?

By the way, I'm not sure it's worth me going for TMC. It's got a pretty ropey reputation in the UK.

You're right about TMC.I find it is usually hours out of date.I am using Primo which I find excellent.I don't take a lot of notice of traffic and as yet I have managed to get by.

True that. I've not had issues without TMC updates to be honest lol.

Out of curiosity, don't you need a subscription in the UK?

Oh. Well I've gone ahead and bought the one without TMC. I seriously considered TMC but the problem I can see is it only works for major roads, like A roads and motorways.

I think in 2 or 3 years I'll find TMC useful when it's better but I doubt it. No worries right now.

Hi, which version do you use? ONline traffic is not working with the version i have

I'm afraid there's a bug in all versions of iGo Primo with online traffic right now. Literally nothing you can do until they fix it
