Igo Primo, hard to see minor roads off main route (no solid lines)

Sun May 31, 2015 9:12 am

Hi,
I have Igo Primo working on a Windows CE device. All works fine except when I am following a route, it is sometimes hard to tell exactly which road to turn off at.

The reason for this is because it is hard to see the side / minor roads as they do not have hardly any outline (ie are almost invisible)

If needed I can provide more details, and maybe a photo of exactly what I mean. I think it is only when I use the Topographic map colours, but may need to check for sure.

Many thanks :-)

Does it help when you change the scheme?

Thanks for your reply, I've just popped out and checked a few things (and taken a photo!) - I have tried changing the colours from 'Topographic' to default day and no difference (Some of the night ones look clearer, but only because they change the background colour to dark, can't really use them in the daytime) - I have also changed the theme to and from 'Default Day' but no difference either.
(I have Igo Primo 2.4 / 9.6.13.267029 - says Nov 6 2012)

That photograph looks more like the photo of a mirror than a photo of a GPS device "at work". It's not Primo related thus but your screen (settings) is (are) the culprit.
I suggest you try changing brightness and contrast (on the device!!)

Thanks all, the photo was taken on a very sunny day with reflections off the screen, but I will look into adjusting the contrast on the device itself. Many thanks
