iGo on binatone x350   

iGo on binatone x350

hi
i got a binatone x350 and would like to install an iGo software to the sd card. please can anyone point me to a guide and which version of iGO would work best and where to download the files that i need. I would like to install a west european map on it.

You will probably need to edit or add the following lines to sys.txt

[folders]
app="\SDMMC\iGO\iGO.exe" [color="red"]<- Edit the path if necessary[/color]

As the X350 has problems with it's registry, so Windows CE can't never find anything!

hi
i managed to instal iGO primo for binatone downloaded from the site and it works fine but i really want iGO8 I installed a version but it does not work. please can you tell me which version of Igo8 works with binatone x350

Post the contents of the sys.txt that was included in what you downloaded.
There may be something that is not appropriate for your unit in there.

You don't need either of those two sections. In fact, they should be removed.
But......[color="red"]Refer to post three[/color]...

i copied
[folders]
app="\SDMMC\iGO\iGO.exe"

but it says program application not found.
but in the system file there supposed be more that just that or not.

You need to edit that line to be the actual path on your system.

Yes, there can be a few more necessary things in sys.txt, but without the program at least starting up correctly, there would be no point at this time.

Are you absolutely sure that your SD Card is called [color="red"]SDMMC[/color] by your system?
It could be that, or it could be SD Card, or it could be some other variation.

Is there anything on your device that allows you to see files, folders, and drives--a file manager/explorer?
