How to Use iGo8 MyWay 8.3.4.117940

Postby sajjas » Sun Apr 24, 2011 8:04 am

Hi all ,

I am from Qatar and recently installed iGo8 MyWay 8.3.4.117940 on FlyAudio Multimedia GPS system (800 * 480) in my Honda Accord.

I would appreciate if you could kindly help me to how to do the navigation by providing me the step by step instructions to enable me to do so.

I am getting the map on the screen and showing the current location of the car every time, but unable to navigate and no voice as well......

Once again your help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

The easiest will be to read the manual. Here is one : [Please Register or Login to download file] .
It may not be the exact manual for 8.3.4, but it will be enlightening for your first steps.

What I am wondering is that you get no voice. You must have selected a voice when you installed iGO. No voice selected, no full install. Selecting a voice also means hearing one voice say 'drive carefuly'. When you have heard that during set up, voice should be working. Of course, voice directions are only given when a destination is chosen.

Thank you Nabi for the quick response to my query. I heard "Drive Carefully" during the set up. As you said, Voice should be working. As i am unable to do the destination procedure, not able hear the voice directions hopefully. I tried a lot, but unfortunately unable to set the destination. May be i dont know the exact way of seting the destination, that could be a possible reason.

Anyways, let me go through the Manual, from the link you have provided. Will update on the way. In between if you have any suggestions/ideas, will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Do a good read in the manual. This will clear things up.
When afterwards there are any questions left, ask.
