I installed iGO Primo 9.6.22.317625 on Samsung Galaxy S2.
The program is working fluently.
I still have some problems:

1) I have a folder content/scheme where are some .zip files (Easy-Day.zip, Easy-Night.zip, Jove-Day.zip, Jove-Night.zip, Old-School-Day.zip, Old-School-Night.zip, Minimal.zip, Topo.zip). I can not use them, in more/settings/display I have for day and night only the default skin theme. Hoe to make visible the files from scheme?

2) In content/car I have a lot of vehicles in .zip format but I can not see them in more/settings/route settings/vehicle.
Is any possibility to see them?

3) I tried to add a skin. I made a new folder content/skin and I add inside an archive as was downloaded, DECENT_SKIN_6.5.1_MULTI_FOR_P2.4.rar, a folder which resulted after uncompresing the downloaded archive DECENT_SKIN_6.5.1_MULTI_FOR_P2.4, as well as a .zip archive which I found inside the above folder in content/skin. I have no access to this new skin.

Please help me to solve the above points.

You need the android versions of skins, the Windows ce skins don't work.

1.The Day and Night colours you can select in More->Settings>Day/Night Colours

2.You can see/select them in More->Settings>Map Settings->3D Vehicle Gallery

3.The Primo version on a Samsung Galaxty is Android.
So you cannot use skins meant for Primo for CE.
Use e.g. skin diMkaWA_aP114.zip. Open this file and you will see that the root name is ui_android.
For Primo-CE that name is ui_igo9.

Why I can not see the schemes and the vehicles?

Did you use the schemes and cars from the android download, or are these from another version?

The folders "car" and "scheme" were inside the installation package and they were populated with .zip files.
The package is "iGO Primo 9.6.22.317625 - GooglePlay 25 Jul 2013" and was installed on Samsung S2.

I just flashed a new rom on to my S2 so I don't have primo installed right now to check, but I'm sure it just worked after installation.

Did you modify the sys.txt or the content folder before installation?

Also when navigating the settings does anything show up in the list of cars or schemes, or is it just the default option?

I modified only the following in sys.txt:

[rawdisplay]
driver=engine
;screen_xy="auto"
screen_xy="800_480:800x442/480x762"

To be sure that resolution is exactly the one of S2.


When navigating I have the default list of cars and default schemes even if in content/car and content/scheme there are files. And again, these cars and scheme are from installation package. I did not add any other car or scheme.

It is like some ware in the settings of this program there is no reference to look in content/car and content/scheme.
But I could not discover where is necessary to indicate these paths.

In rest program is working well, I added maps and they are showing up very well, I added POI and they are also showing up, I added also terrain map of EU (Europe_NASA.dem) and this is also working, I added also more voices (non-TTS) because I like the pronunciation of Amy in US English and this is working perfect. I added addresses and I also tried the input coordinates and is working very well. I tried also in real traffic to see if there is any lag and I am very happy that it is moving fast and very accurate.

If Primo works fine i.e. you can select voice/language/poi's etc., the references in sys.txt [folders] are correct.If those are wrong, Primo would not even start.

I suspect corrupted files.

Therefore I uploaded the scheme files used on my Nexus&Sony.

No, is not working.
I deleted all my scheme and I copied yours (content/scheme).
I restarted iGO.
Then I restarted the phone.
Then I deleted "save" from iGO and restarted iGO.
When I go to more/settings/display and select Day Skin Theme I have only the default one.
