How do I add/edit poi

Postby bigballs5 » Tue Sep 18, 2012 10:41 pm

How do I get poi,s into a format that I can use on primo 2.
I usually get my poi,s from pocket gps, and you can choose what format you want the file in,but I cant find the.poi needed for primo.

I hope this question makes sense

Primo uses .kml format, place these files into content\userdata\poi

You can use poiedit (free software) to convert ov2 files if you wish

My Primo2 has a "poi folder" in the content folder, and in the "poi folder" are the relevant .poi files for my country and they work. Why is it necessary to also put the .kml files in the "poi folder" which is in the "userdata folder"
I am a bit confused. Is this just if i want to add extra poi"s?

Content/poi is for map set .poi files
Content/userdata/poi is for .kml files
