helping my friend mio c 230 screen loading problem

halo guys does anybody have a solution for mio c230 320x240

his gps keep on showing mio on screen.
it still can connect to a computer

i've tried using amigo unfortunately it has wrong resolution but the problem is it searching gps.(can not connect)

i've tried gpssetup but i don't know how to use it mio.
it has small memory i think i has 380mb left

any solution would be helpfull.

Try using Igo8 instead of amigo, somewhere in the settings there is an option for it to search for the correct port and baud for the gps.

i've tried it say error does support 340 x 230 or skin not available

how do i change it?
i've tried change sys.txt
i found a threat about it but it link is broken. could you sent me new link
(any gps application that run on wince 5.0 in 340 x 230 )

thanks for you advice i've tried igo primo but size to big only have 310 mb left primo has 370mb not include map.

in sys.txt

[rawdisplay]
highres=0
screen_x=320
screen_y=240
class="landscape"

it still has same error it say 320X240 is not supported or skin not available.
i've tried looking for skin unfortunaly broken link

i've tried igo8 it can load but problem in languange i don't know why. i'll try again

Put the Primo program on the SD card NOT the internal c230 disk. Use the sys.txt that is within the program. I doubt you will need to modify it.

thank you for your reply chas i have tried igo primo it does have enough memory to run.
i like your support about amigo but cab i try igo 8.3.5 multi resolution.
prefer with 320 x 240 res.

btw i have found some unfortunately brokenlink.
i have tried igo8 (i don't know what ver) it say fatal error load languange failed.
mio c 230 is eu not na
already tried replace i file in language folder.
any solution?

First of all, we cannot support anything gotten from another site. We do not know what they did and we do not know if they did it correctly in the first place. You can find our programs in the igo section sub-section programs.
