I have primo 2 running on a Chinese wince5 as per lower part of my sig.I have just sold my motorhome and this unit will go with it.The question is,i will be buying a 1 din unit with the same spec or higher,if i make a copy of the sd card will I be able to just put it in the new unit or will i be better to download the complete primo and maps to start a fresh.

Unless you have modified something specifically for your first hardware, Primo is not device-specific so just copying the setup for a newer device should work. If you have specific settings in your sys.txt, just remove them before installation in the new unit. Starting over can be a bit of a bother if it's not required.

IGO is not device specific as well, just for the record.
But it could be wise to not only delete device specific settings in sys.txt, but to delete the save folder as well. The hardest part then will be to set up the soft again.

First I have to buy another motorhome then I will post a few links on here re advice as to the single din unit i will want to buy.
