Cannot run Primo 2.0, low memory error on 128mb unit

Tue Apr 23, 2013 10:31 am

I'm trying to get primo 2.0 running on my eonon d5151, but as soon as I boot it, it throws a no memory error. Not really sure how to allocate the memory correctly, but the unit is a 128mb unit running winCE 6.0. Any help would be appreciated.

Primo 2.4 seems to run to run fine, however i would rather have a more stable version as I have gotten some errors.
Most notably a popup that read something along the lines of "nwcwindowdevice" or something around there which forced me to reboot. I can't recall exactly what it said, but it locked up.

Help? Thanks.

Your unit definitely has 128mb RAM yes?

You should perhaps ask yourself what is running in the background. And what if you do a reset?

Huh. I guess I could try that. As for running in the background? Not sure. Maybe I'll give it another shot later today. Think it's worth the hassle or should I just stay on 2.4?

By a reset, you mean reboot the unit? Or what?

Well, it depends. My old china nav never reboot the WinCE, so if it crashed, you had to hard reset it. My new one reboots it after 5 minutes of the ignition being off.
