First question: did you read this thread from the start?
Sun Jul 01, 2012 9:22 am
Yes, I did!
I tried to rename the folder name and the exe file name but still nothing.
I got an error window something like this "file not found, igo/igo.exe"
How could I rich the WinCE system tray?

Well, that may indicate that your particular menu/startup system is looking for a folder named
igo, and an exe named
igo.exe, so rename both to those and try again....note any error messages
exactly, and report back here.

Don't know what you mean by that.

I meant how to rich the basic WinCE 5.0 basic system, not the PNA surface.
I tried to rename the "iGO8" folder to "igo" and the exe file to "igo.exe" and I got this error message
"Fatal Application Error" "Application igo.exe has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.
Program: igo.exe
Exception: 0xC0000005
Address: 001BF008
"
Thanks in advice!

Could you please post the contents of the sys.txt (in the main iGo folder) here?
If it is very long, please put it in a spoiler like this:
Put sys.txt contents here
Also, did you get the version of iGo from this site...which version?
Wed Jul 04, 2012 8:59 am
No, I got from a torrent site, and the version is "IGO.8.3.2"
I downloaded the igo primo2 from this site and when I try to run the PNA just thinking.
Here is the sys content:
[interface]
resolution_dir="480_272"
maxzoom2d=6000000
show_exit=1
[timezone]
sync_os_timezone=0
reset_os_timezone=0

Well......that may or may not be a complete working version. We have no way to know or where to start.
Software from
here is typically known and tested by the Mods (we even USE our own posted software!), and, when adjustments are necessary, somebody knows what to do.
So I would suggest starting over. Otherwise we may be wasting time trying to 'fix' something that cannot be fixed.
If you want iGo8, try this one:

It may be that the 'latest' is not appropriate for your device for various reasons. This maybe
could be solved, but try the version of iGo8 above first.

It's a 2007 device, very similar but identical to a MyGuide 4300, originally sold with iGo8 on it, so probably lack of memory ?
Wed Jul 04, 2012 10:27 pm
I downloaded and tried the iGO8 from this site, I copied in to PNA flash memory and when I run I get an Error message: "Program application database cannot be found."
Any idea?
Thanks in advance!!!!

Yes. A 'path' is likely wrong in sys.txt. Remove anything that has a path statement such as this:
- Code:
[3dcar]
work_dir="\Storage Card\iGO8"
mortscript="\Storage Card\iGO8\3DCars\Themechanger\MortScript.exe"
Or change the path(s) so that it is correct according to whatever your internal flash drive is named.
Such as:
work_dir="\
[color="#FF0000"]{your internal flash drive name here}[/color]\iGO8"
Change or delete all instances of a path.
Then try again.
