hi all,

I have brought a binaton s500, has anyone managed or knows if I can get tomtom on the device?
just want to put on uk maps.

device id 5" widescreen with ce6.

That is problematic for any TomTom Software.
As in, will barely work if at all after jumping through many hoops.

Fatboyfun (a Binatone owner and expert) will likely answer with his recommendations for you.
In the meantime, have a look here:

But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

How to understand that question?
You mean: "can I install iGO and has iGO UK maps?"
The answer is: "yes" and "yes".

iGO Primo: yes

Download this build...

Copy the Primo2 folder to a micro SD card
Open NotePad on your PC and type...

\SDMMC\Primo2\Primo2.exe

This is the path to the new app ON THE DEVICE ITSELF

And save as SHELL.ini Not SHELL.ini.txt

Copy this file to the root of the micro SD card

Put card into device and switch off and on again, start navigation, Primo should start instead of the original app

If it starts then we can move on to maps and gps settings

Hi,

I have received a 8gb micro SDHC. I downloaded and copied the primo file, I did not unpack it copied as .rar file and the ini file you specified both into the root of card.

When i power on and choose navigation it goes into old software.

Do i need to unpack the .rar files

You needed to extract the Primo2 folder from the rar archive...

hi, thanks for that. I have managed to extract it and have a igo 2.o flash screen.

If you can please tell me what to do next. I would like uk maps with speed camera please if that is possible.
