Hello bernievink
Was you using the TomTom Map or the TomTom map that was called TeleAtlas or Sensis? maybe someone here can provide better info .

As far as I know TomTom Australia map can only be used in TomTom devices, whereas the other TomTom map can be used in other devices e.g Nav-n-Go , IGO8 etc.
Cheers,
Bondy

Hello bondy99

What I did was to replace my here australia 2020Q4 .fbl and .poi files with the TomTom .fbl and .poi files provided by (held captive) earlier in this thread.
but I left all the other 2020Q4 files in place in their normal directories to allow for routing and truck information.
This has been installed in both my xGody in the motorhome and the Blaupunkt in the Peugeot 308.
and both seem to work fine apart from the comment in above post.

Hi Folks

I have finally found someone who is willing to send me a copy of Australia and New Zealand Here 2021 Q2.
it appears to be burnt into a CD, so when it arrives I will have to copy it onto my Micro SD card.
But if it works OK then I will post the files here.

Hoping I finally succeed to get the right files.

Hi Folks

Well the CD arrived and it has approx 746 MB of data on it including several .exe files to upgrade something called NavPro.
but it does have a content folder with all the usual subfolders of Building, Map, Phoneme, Poi and Speedcam.
so far so good and in these folders are very similar files as we are used to but with different names.
I have copied thes to my SD card and will try out the system on the road, Road test was very good.
would the Mod of this board please show me where to send the relevant files. (approx 380 MB)
I used to have a place wher I could store 1GB on the web with my previous internet RSP but my present RSP does not allow this.
any help here woulkd be appreciated.

Bernie

There are many upload sites to choose from like the following where you don't have to join up to upload/download the files:

[Please Register or Login to download file]
[Please Register or Login to download file]

I recommend using WinRAR to package them up and password protect the archive as well
Thank you for your continued work on this

Bernie,

I've had to make a few adjustments and start a new thread for your map upload as the member nyky might not appreciate someone else using his name as a password...I'm sure you can understand that.

So, your post is now stickied here: topic22855.html

Again, thank you for your work to help the other members :023:
