I have no way to change the pat, its built into the system. I appreciate the help and I think we may be on the right path!

In that case, please set it up to start up with CECMD (disguised as Primo). Then from CECMD, try to run \windows\explorer.exe. Then, run the real Primo (renamed to something else) and see if it starts up fine.

Same results. booted to cecmd, from there loaded explorer.exe, then from there my renamed primo file. the boot screen comes on for about 5-10 seconds and then resets back to the explorer window

If boot screen comes up for about 5 to 10 seconds and then exits, this may mean a license issue.

Is this with your original/licensed Primo 1.2 on your original SD ?
What about if we do it with the your good, cracked Primo 2.0 ?

Please note if you just copied your licensed original, primo 1.2 to different sd, and ran it from there, it would not work as the license is tied to the SD.

This is with the original licensed Primo 1.2 on the original sd card. I will try the Primo 2.0 and let ya know

When I try with my previously working Primo 2.2 Zervdim edition, exact same thing happens, both ways, with cecmd loading it or cecmd loading explorer and loading it. Last thing it said before it went blank was language ready....

Sorry, but now I am running out of ideas on how to possibly fix your problem.
Is there any crash.txt file created on the primo root that can possibly give us some clue as to why it stops after language ready ?

Fri Dec 28, 2012 9:48 pm

nope. no crash log of the event. You have been very helpful, and I appreciate your willingness to help. If you have any ideas, please share!

Just saying. Not for nothing but Zervdim's Primo program caused a lot of negative reviews here. If I were you, I would look to Yurbuh Tuggly's Primo 2.

I second that!

i am currently getting Yurbuh Tuggly's primo and your igo8 version. Will try them both. I am guessing I am gonna be limited to Igo8 because of this error, but I dont mind igo8 all that much, just need a good skin I think.

My suggestion in iGO8: Use a non-TTS voice instead of TTS. Susan and Kate talk too much. I like Amy v.1.2 non-TTS. Also, my Kikker 3.2 skin included is pretty good.

I installed Yurbuh Tuggly's primo and same error. So I have pretty much written off Primo until I can figure it out. I then Installed your Igo8. Nice, I think I will be using that as my software of choice!

Yeah. I like my iGO8 better also. BTW, where do you live? I might be able to assist you more.

I am in Minnesota. I prefer the options of Primo, but its all good with Igo8 as well...well once I get rid of the Honda civic on my screen...
