1st GPS problem encountered....

Postby eskro » Sat Aug 21, 2010 1:22 am

like the title says, im puzzled....

here it is....

i added my HOME adress as favorite,
and then used the GPS to drive me to a store in another town...

anyways, after that, i wanted to drive back to my house,
so i clicked on the favorite ive created, and it started to drive me to my house...

problem was, i missed a street, and instead of having the GPS redirect me,
you know, recalculate my new route, well it didnt !!!
it looked like it was trying to, judging by the 2 green arrows in circle
located top left of my screen, but never made it...

i was screwed----
the only way i got it to recalculate my route was to again,
go in the menus and click on the favorite ive created called HOME.....

now thats a major problem!!
my GPS has to recalculate my route if i make a mistake
and take the wrong turn or whatever!!!

please help,,,
whats wrong???

thanx

If you're using igo, there is a setting for automatic route recalculation. If it is set to off, then it would NOT recalculate if you go off route. Of course, with primo, this is always set to auto-recalculate, there is no option/setting to turn it off.

Did you have satellites at that precise moment? Just checking.
When Primo (or any GPS) not knows where it is, it can not calculate any route.
