Which map do I need

Hi

I have a Nüvi 250W with CN Europe NT2014.40 map on the SD card. The gmapsupp.img has a size of 3.284.992.000
I want to update the map but don´t know which map I should download, can someone help me ?
I also understand that to renew the map I only have to replace the img, is that so ?

There are some other gpi files on the SD card, araodtoll.gpi and euspeedcam.gpi are dated 4-9-2010 and 3 kamere.gpi files are empty and dated 14-6-2010 and last is a sweraodtoll.pgi is dated 5-12-2007
I think they must be renewed too, can someone advice me with soem information and which file I need to download ?

Hi! You need the City Navigator NT you just copy the new image on the replacement of the previous one!
Do not touch the rest of the files no need to erase them

Do you mean this one ?
Which one should I download ? The 7 City Navigator Europe NTU 2018.10 rar files ? And select / download them one by one ?

I am not sure if your device support Unicode maps from the official site of Garmin propose NT NON Unicode maps so try the last City Navigator Europe

I check the device and software version is 4.00 so I think Unicode will work. What do you think and advice ?
How do I download the map ? Every rar files separate ?
For TT I download one link which include all map files

I put a new map on the SD card and it look like it works but don´t I have to update the other files or remove some files like the 3 kamere.gpi files because they are empty ?
And don´t I have to upgrade sweraodtoll.pgi and aroadtoll.pgi and euspeedcam.pgi ?
Where are these files for ? I think for toll roads but it look like toll road in Sweden and somewhere "a road toll" and the euspeedcam.pgi look like a speedcam file for Europe but doesn´t that file need an update sometimes ?

If you like you may download the safety cameras .gpi files and copy them on the device

Thank you, there are more files in the download so I put them all on the SD card and delete the euspeedcam.gpi
Hopefully I did that correct.

This device dependant only newer devices supports both NT & NTU maps, but if you are travelling in countries that use [Please Register or Login to download file] letters NTU is designed to accommodate them. Example is CN Russia NTU & Europe NTU.
Check your garmindevice.xml for <Name>UnicodeMaps</Name> to see if it is compatible with NTU Unicode maps

Please make sure your archive software is up to date or just Use the latest [Please Register or Login to download file]

I think content ( Coverage, updated ways etc ) is same ( 2021.20 vs 2021.30 ), only difference is Unicode coding.
