What Garmin to go for ?

Hi guys,

I am looking to get a "garmin" I'm wondering what one would you go for these days?

I've been looking online and can see that there's loads of models out.

for example...

Garmin Nuvi 1300 GPS, B £30.00
Garmin Nuvi 1340, B £32.00
Garmin Nuvi 1300 GPS, A £35.00
Garmin Nuvi 2340, B £40.00

ah, I found a wiki with all the models listed

Nüvi 1xxx are long time outdated (approx. 4 years) and seems to make problems with current Europe Unicode maps. For my opinion nuvi 23xx is the better choice. They also have the very usefull active holder.

aha, nice one, thanks very much for that, I'll have a look at the 23xx one's then and see if I can pick one of them up.

I nearly bought the 1x series today, and then glad I haven't now, that little extra for the better series will be worth it, glad I asked

I can get a Garmin Nuvi 2445 Sat Nav , B, for £40.00......might as well pick up the later model?
