hi there i have 2 nuvi 785 and a 1450 ,i have sucseeded in unlocking the map for nuvi 785 but not sucseeded for 1450, any help would be great thanks andrew

use Garmin Unlocker Alternative, then you will have no problems on every device

Where did you copy the map image and how is it named?

hi i changed the file name to gmapsupp.img then put to sd card , i tried putting the file in , internal but wouldn't fit, but the original name was gmapprom.img

On SD card it must be gmapsupp.img in folder Garmin or [any name].img in folder Map (for nuvi 1xxx, 2xxx and 3xxx only).

that's what i forgot the gamin folder il give it a go

ok thanks very much , so because the internal is pretty full , so when the time comes to add more maps , i gather they all have to go to the sd card with different name
