Trouble installing City Navigator® Europe NT on Garmin 2467

Hi Guys,

I have a Garmin 2467 (without SD card), and would like to replace the internal map with City Navigator® Europe NT

Had a read through the tutorials and cannot find where is the internal map file stored so I could back it up and delete it.
After what I could copy the downloaded .img file over to the Garmin's internal memory.

I have allready downloaded the City Navigator® Europe NTU Original Image ALL: Unlocked:

Will it even work on my Garmin, or did I download something wrong and should go for this one?

Try it out and you know of it works.
To my knowledge, the Garmin 2467 has live time maps.
Connect with Garmin Express and see if you get the latest map.

Did you tried the .system directory it may be a hidden one ! There may be you previous map but even if you copy your new files on a Garmin directory should both recognize by the device and choose which you like!But try also the express for an automate download as our friend said!

My Garmin has the CN Europe NTU 2016.30 Western Europe installed at the moment.
I would like to replace it with the City Navigator® Europe as I understand it has a more coverage.



Have done lots of reading and as I understand the NT versions are for older Garmins and mine (2467) should work with the NTU version.
I couldn't find the map on internal storage. It's not there, looked in the Garmin folder. Looks like I need to buy an external memory card?

The automatic download allows me to update my current map which does not have the coverage I need

As i said in a previous post! Try the .system directory it may be hidden one ! Or Use an sd card
