Garmin now has new nuvi models (37XX, 24XX, 1695) that use Traffictrends that afaik is incorporated into the map itself.
The nuvi collects its own data into a sql file that is sent to Garmin everytime the unit is plugged into the computer and connected to the garmin site.

I was wondering if this still works with the unlocked maps?
Can it still report the info to Garmin, and can the unit use that info from the map?
I want to buy the 2450 but Im not sure if I should get the lifetime maps option or not.
Opinions?
