Is there any possibility to open topo maps on a Garmin 525S device.
I would like to use the Garmin Topo V2 where no sea chart has coverage.
When I try to open a topomap the plotter says that the chart format is not supported.

Did you try to use the topo map named as
gmapsupp.img in folder
garmin on SD card?

Yes. I try to open swedish v2 topo maps and it will not work. I got a proposal to change some parameters with gmaptool and the map opens but land areas are very strange, black spots and funny colors so it is not useful. V1 maps opens without any problems so i will use them instead.
