Nuvi 50

Can anyone tell me what the maximum map size a garmin nuvi 50 can read from an sd card. i have an old nuvi 360t and it cannot see the new large maps..

And is the map unlocked ?

not sure does this make a difference ?

Of course you need an unlocked map and place the map in a folder with the name Garmin on a SD card.
And the map must be renamed to gmapsupp.img
So time to read the Garmin section.

okay thanks tried that on the 360 and it cannot see it still....

Wich size of SD card you use. If bigger then 2GB try one from max 2GB.

will get a smaller card only have 4gb ,many thanks
